Serbia responded to the challenge By: Milen Vesovic
Belgrade, March 11, 2010 (Serbia Today) - Serbia and Serbian Tennis Association are raising from year to year the organization standards of world importance tennis events. The media mostly talk about how was the tennis match, which was the result, who was the winner and so on, but hardly anyone talks about how the organization itself took place and what was its effect on the field. Serbian Tennis Federation (TSS) has organized two major tennis events within one month. TSS was the host of the match between Serbia and Russia in Fed Cup (women's tennis players) on February 6-7, and on March 5-7 a match was organized between Serbia and the United States in Davis Cup for men. TSS organized well both events. Security was at the highest level. It must be added that Organizers in Serbia who honor all the Journalists’ requests linked to this job, are rare. Foreign journalists with whom we talked were extremely satisfied with their relationship with the Tennis Association of Serbia. Special commendations were presented on the account of Neda Miletic PR TSS. A Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic at the conference for journalists stated that he has noticed how the tennis public in Serbia is becoming more and more involved after each tennis match. |
